When you’re investing in your memories, that's some precious sh*t to handle and you want the person capturing them to be fully invested in you. The more you invest in your story, the more your photographer is going to invest themselves, their time, their talents and their help into your story which is what you want. You want someone to invest in this adventure with you so that it gets told in a way that represents your relationship to the fullest and the way you envisioned. It's been said over and over: you pay for what you get. So I strive to provide an amazing client experience with amazing photography, so you know that your investment is worth it.

after we're all locked in, we'll communicate either through text or email to figure out what we need and how we're gunna make the vision happen. Then we have our adventure! After the adventure, you'll receive previews within 24 hrs, and the whole gallery within 3 weeks!
Laid back sessions, real deep memories.
Not just your average 'lets sit here and smile together 10 different ways photoshoot, but low pressure like your average date together. Perfect for engagements, anniversaries, just cause, proposals, small families + maternities.
How it works: we'd hop on a call and get to know each other, and from there we decide what we're gunna do - whether it be recreating a date, doing a favourite activity together, whatever it is. I/We will build a pinterest board to get the vibe, and from there we create a little sliver of magic!
Some laid back vibes, but a little more 'type-2' adventure.
These sessions are for the ones seeking an adventure - whether it be one they've done before or adventuring a place they've never been before. Hikes, camping, fishing, canoeing, anything that is a physical and mental experience - you're in.
How it works: we hop on a call and make a plan for what you're envisioning. We talk logistics, budget. I look into options on locations, what we need extra, etc. and then we make a game plan. From there, we look at it more as of adventure rather than a photoshoot - but day of you'll be getting natural photos of you guys having this amazing adventure together - both beautiful and full of real memories!

As for elopements - I am not actively taking on elopements.....but I'm not fully saying no.
I have such a soft spot for people wanting to make the most out of their wedding and doing what they want, so I am not saying I'm taking elopements..... but.... if you have what you think is a special story and wanna tell me about it then maybe we can talk budget and logistics and I can be there for you cheering you on :)

How many photos will we receive?
Will they be RAW or Edited?
No matter what you will get a MINIMUM of 50 FULLY EDITED HIGH QUALITY JPEG's. I do not give out RAW images ! But keep in mind, the more variety we have in your session (clothes, activities, locations) and the more time we are together - the more photo's you'll likely receive!
Does location have a factor in price?
YES. Within YYC / Okotoks / Bragg Creek area it is my lowest price. From there, Kananaskis is subject to a smaller fee for time and gas (being straight up its a lot of driving but it is one of my favourite places and I have a few spots I wanna take people). If you would like to shoot in a studio or indoor location that needs fees that cost is your responsibility (I can organize everything). If you would like Banff / National Parks I have limits on locations & a bigger budget is needed due to permits / fees.
You reference that an activity HAS to be part of the session - what does this mean / does it cost extra?
Basically what it means is that you’re not going to show it in matching outfits where we walk around somewhere and pose for me in the same 10 ways with different backgrounds. It means that we need to be doing something. We need a baseline for this chapter of your story. It can be as simple or as elaborate as you want! If its elaborate, there could be extra costs. For instance if you want to be doing an excursion (examples could be things we need transportation or rentals for) then you would have to cover the costs for yourself and me. BUT it could be simple as grabbing a large pepperoni pizza and sit in the back of the truck with a couple of beers watching the sunset! I just don’t want you showing up like this is going to be basically a wal mart posed photo shoot in a pretty place. We’re supposed to have fun, and it HAS to be real.
Why aren’t you shooting weddings anymore?
If you would like the whole story, my instagram is the best place to find it. But long story short - I need to get back to doing what I love for me, not completely for other people. It doesn’t mean I’ll never open up to weddings again, and select elopements I’m open to depending on budget and availability - but I need to get back to it at my own pace and make sure that I’m doing it for me, so I can give 100% me to the people that trust me. Plus honestly - sessions have a lot more creative freedom and less pressure and that’s what I’m good at!
